We are pleased to have provided a significant funding package to support the management buy out at Inspire CS Group, a specialist provider of residential child care, supported accommodation and education services.

In January 2012 they opened The Parks School and this has grown over the past 12 years from a 6 student school to a 30 student school in Hindley, Wigan. In March 2014 Inspire also developed their own Supported Living Services. As a result, the Inspire CS Group now operates 14 supported accommodation services and 9 single, dual and three bed Ofsted approved homes, providing warm, comfortable and stable family orientated environments for young people aged 8-18 years.

Each home and supported living house is staffed with experienced social care professionals all equipped with the skills necessary to ensure that young people can flourish and move on to adulthood with the skills and knowledge they require.

The transaction will see the full exit of the non-operating shareholders, with Paul Keogh retaining the business alongside a new partner, Jordan Kemp. Together they will focus on opening new services and ultimately growing the business through capitalising on the significant market opportunity and high demand for specialist children’s services.

The transaction was advised by Rangewell with further financial support from Mattocks Grindley & Langtons Chartered Accountants with legal support and guidance provided by Primas Law and Napthens.

We are so happy that ThinCats have been able to support us to complete the managed buyout. They have been very responsive in all areas of the buyout process and have provided the financial stability and reassurances we needed in a very challenging financial / lending market. This will enable us to grow and develop our services to meet the diverse and complex needs of the young people we care for, educate and support into adulthoodPaul Keogh, Inspire CS Group LTD

Richard Henshaw, National Head of Healthcare, ThinCats, said: “We are delighted to have supported Paul and Jordan on this transaction, they have built a fantastic reputation in the sector and are well positioned to capitalise on market opportunities. It is gratifying to be supporting a business that is providing such a vital service improving the lives of so many young people. It is an exciting time for Inspire and we look forward to seeing their continued growth.”
